Protocast investment powder for casting (Also the same as Resincast)

Protocast powder is a newly developed and improved investment powder for direct casting of resin pieces

Specifically designed for 3d printed and CAD designed pieces

Easily cast all alloys including high percentage palladium white gold

Also great for brass and other non precious metals

Gives the highest quality surface finish

Special formula allows the easy removal of the finished casting from the mould

It is suited to both centrifugal and vacuum assisted casting methods

Technical details:

Use de-ionised water (C4359)

Slurry temperature 21°C

Leave for 90 minutes to stand before burnout

Water to Powder Ratio:

You can invest with slightly warmer water, the warmer the slurry is when investing the quicker the set time will be. We advise only a few degrees warmer than what you regularly use, as it may set too quick.
