The Matt Miter box with saw is the jig made especially to cut carving wax tubes, slice bars perfectly straight and parallel. Included in the set along with the Miter Jig is a hand saw with a fine steel blade.

The Miter Box has 3 cutting slots, the primary one in the center for cutting straight parallel walls and other 2 on the sides for cutting tapered angle walls. The fine steel saw blade permits cutting through the wax tubes and rods with minimal effort, leaving a smooth cut edge without the need to file.

The wax tube is held firmly in position inside the box so there is no strain on your hand. Miter has a stop-lock to cut numerous exact thicknesses.
