Meticulously cut with impeccable polishing, Preciosa Marcasite stones are cut from genuine Iron Pyrite. With a unique silvery-black, almost gun-metal appearance, marcasite is equal parts eye-catching and delicate and provides the perfect touch of sparkle to ornate or vintage inspired jewellery pieces.

These Marcasite stones are in the Round 'Rose Cut'. This rose cut with its many facets, reflects light and gives jewellery its characteristic sparkle.

These marcasite stones measure 1mm in size and are sold individually.

Preciosa Marcasite have a hardness of 6-6.5 on the Mohs scale and heat resistance of up to 200 °C/392 °F.

Please note that Preciosa Marcasite are not suitable for the lost wax casting process.
