Used one of these day in, day out for over 20 years to size down rings. When used correctly it never misses a beat and all the dies still cut well, and never been sharpened. when need it cut through 10 x 2mm shanks. And can cut 8 sizes out of most rings Excellent peice of kit especially if you keep chopping too much out.
