After having followed the courses together and passed the examination of the Federal Masters of Mechanics Jean-Claude Beuchat and Philippe Maître decide to join forces to create their company (1989). They are lucky enough to find a company that was to hand over and it is the company Houriet in Tramelan, the owners, wishing to claim their right to retire after long years of work in the service of watchmaking is taken over by the two new partners with the help of the Regional Economic Impulse Foundation (FIER). The gallows and other tools manufactured by Houriet are sold under the trademark Horia. Horia manufacture high quality tools for the discerning watchmaker and watch repairer. Horia jewelling tools are renowned for their excellence.
