The foundation stone for today's traditional brand was laid in 1922 by Franz Hermle, when he founded the company Franz Hermle & Sohn in Gosheim. As early as 1930 it was one of the region's most modern watchmaking facilities and the high standard was maintained even after the war. In addition to the production and sale of clocks of various types, the focus was on mechanical movements for other watch manufacturers right from the start. From clock weight shells, to platform escapements, to barrel & mainsprings, to world renowned clock movements, we have it all.
